Robusta coffee on the move? Now you know they’re cutting costs to improve margins! Super Bowl what? The Super Bowl Indicator states that the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) will end the year with a gain if the NFC team wins the Super Bowl, but will fall if the AFC team is the winner. Historically, the indicator has a success rate of 73% and more so, 82%, when the NFC team wins. Has China dropped its vaccination requirement? Just a negative NAT now? WTF?! 8 mile run… wanted to see if I could. Get your flowers ready, but just get the right colour. Yellow and white are for death, so keep that in mind when shopping for your love. Or squeeze. Sad to hear of the passing of another ‘young’ man, in his 60s. Most likely pancreatic cancer. Very difficult to detect. Sad. Automation one step closer as I’ve finally got the program to pull text, now to get it to clean it up. I’ll get there. I think I like the challenge more than anything. Oh how files grow It used to be Twitter was the place to get depressed from all the violence and political jib a jibe. Now the expat outlets keep reporting just horrible things. China beats covid? So it’s like over for real? Planning that HK trip, is Shenzhen worth the stop? Still watching that Trafficked documentary, shows Ghana quite a bit. Gets me wondering if I even want to travel any more? Is it even safe? Is this what ‘normal’ people think about? But there’s so many places I haven’t been, will I ever go? Will it ever be safe to go? Preparing for the future, looking ten years back to see what ten years forward could be Do you wash dishes after dinner or do you let them sit for a day or so? ChatGPT: is it really a doomsday bot? No, it does not have feelings and no it cannot think. It is pulling information from the net and assembling it according to the algorithm it’s programmed with. Ie, it couldn’t do it on its own nor could it actualize what it says. It has no action, only assembled character strings. Interesting idea and I do wonder who will blame ChatGPT first, much like they blamed the devil in the 1980’s. Looking at some of these hikes outside of the city, wouldn’t mind getting out. Expats Ex-patriate! More job shifts and maneuverings! How would you handle moving from a city of 21 million to 1 million? How about 50,000 people? Honestly, I imagine it would be quiet.
