Just an update that I’ve posted some more videos on YouTube. A lot are from Heavy Montreal 2014 (abbreviated Heavy MTL), including Baby Metal which has drawn a lot of views from Japan. If you’ve never seen the group, they’re an interesting twist on the metal genre in that the group is comprised of three teenage Japanese girls singing about chocolate and the like. Also saw Metallica take the stage, it’s been a few years since I’ve seen them perform. They’ve still got it. There’s also a few videos from the Tam-Tams, an informal, free festival that takes place every Sunday at the base of the Cartier monument on Mont Royal. Montreal’s music and movies have kept me busy.
